How to Create a POAP Event
Creating your own POAP event on the Tron blockchain is simple. Follow the steps below:
1. Head over to the Create POAP Event page.
2. Enter the event details, including the name, description, and an image to represent the event.
3. Set a claim code that attendees will use to claim their POAP.
4. Specify how many POAPs you want to allow for this event.
5. Click Create Event and confirm the transaction in your TronLink wallet.
6. After the event is created, you'll be redirected to the verification page where the event ID is logged.
Cost of creating a POAP event is 1.25 TRX pr. POAP (Min. 100 POAPs) + transaction fee.
Transaction fee is ~ 130K energy or 25 TRX.
How to Claim a POAP
Claiming a POAP is just as easy. Here’s how:
1. Visit the Event Listings page to see all active POAP events.
2. Click on the event you attended or will attend.
3. Enter the claim code provided by the event host.
4. Confirm the claim in your TronLink wallet and receive your POAP directly into your wallet.
Transaction fee for claiming is ~ 125K energy or 20 - 25 TRX.
